Clark G. Gilbert of Deseret Digital Media has been named the recipient of this year’s coveted Borrell Associates' Innovator of the Year Award for local online media. He accepted the award at the 2011 Local Online Advertising Conference in New York March 3. Gilbert keynoted that conference along with former Harvard Business School colleague Clay Christensen, author of “The Innovator’s Dilemma.” Gilbert is the second recipient of the annual award. Last year's award went to Colleen Fisher, CEO of Fisher Broadcasting.
