Brent Barkin is a Vice President at Shoe Station, a family footwear retailer founded in 1984. Shoe Station has 17 locations in the Southeastern United States.
In 2005, Mr. Barkin was responsible for creating and designing Shoe Station.com. Currently he is the company’s Childrens, Apparel, and Womens Sandal buyer.
As VP of marketing, Mr. Barkin oversees the website, procures visual marketing materials for the stores, oversees social media and works with the advertising agency to further develop alternatives to traditional media, including digital billboards, email blasts, and most recently the substantial use of text marketing for informational and promotional campaigns.
