Scott Pontikes

Scott Pontikes is a founding partner and COO of Pontikes Ventures, Inc. the parent company to Scotty P's Hamburgers. Known for their burgers cooked over an open flame, Scotty P's Hamburgers opened in Frisco, Texas in December 1999, and at present, has a restaurant/commissary/warehouse in Plano, Texas with satellite stores in Allen, McKinney, Garland, and Dallas and two location in Frisco, Texas. They have frequently appeared in online and print media as one of Dallas' Top Burger Restaurants with numerous other accolades for several elements of their full service menu served in a quick casual marketplace.

Scott earned his Bachelors Degree from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Administration at the University of Houston and has 28 years of experience in restaurants and hotel operations and sales. Pontikes and partner Chris Pontikes are responsible for the entire concept development, implementation and day to day operations of the local-chain family restaurant. With limited infra-structure they handle typical day to day operational aspects of a multi-store restaurant, but also handle most of their own IT, Advertising and Web and Mobile Marketing. In January of this year, after a great success with email marketing, Pontikes and Scotty P's began exploring Text Marketing as well as becoming more involved in Social Media Marketing. With the use of Call-Em-All, Inc. as their texting company they have quickly grown into a significant player in the latest technology of text marketing and have been featured in several publications including a recent write up in the Dallas Morning News.

The Pontikes brothers have plans for continued growth of their concept in and around the Dallas Metroplex.
